Professor Yang Qing is head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the China Medical University and Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research and Teaching at Shengjing Hospital. She is Vice President of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association. She is the deputy editor in chief of the Chinese Journal of Practical Gynecology and Obstetrics and serves in the editorial board of several other medical journals and textbooks. A provincial Teaching Master, Professor Qing has been the main person behind the development of the gynaecologic endoscopic program at Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital. She continues to mentor several Gambian gynaecologists.
